Do you want to work with Growatt products? Then you need a Growatt installer account. In this article, we will explain step by step how to create this account so you can quickly start monitoring and configuring Growatt inverters and storage solutions.
Tip: Do you already have a Growatt Shine account? Then you can easily upgrade it to an installer account.
Why a Growatt installer account?
With an installer account, you get access to all installation and monitoring features of Growatt via ShineServer or the ShinePhone app. Think of:
Configuring inverters remotely
Live monitoring of systems
Quickly identifying and resolving issues
In short: indispensable for professional installers working with Growatt systems.
Step by step: Creating a Growatt installer account
1. Visit the Growatt portal
Go to https://server.growatt.com
Note: preferably use Google Chrome for the best performance.
2. Choose “Register”
Click on “Register” at the top right.
3. Fill in your details
Use the email address of your installation company.
Note:
Select User Type as Installer
Fill in the other company details correctly
Don’t forget to set a secure password
4. Verify your email address
After registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Growatt. Click the link to activate your account.
5. Wait for approval
Growatt manually approves your application. This usually takes 1 to 2 working days. You will receive confirmation once your account is active.
6. Log in and start installing!
After approval, you can immediately log in to the OSS portal or via the ShinePhone app & ShineTool app. Your Growatt installer account is now ready for use!

Certainly! With your installer account, you can use both:
ShineServer (web portal) → ideal for detailed system management
ShinePhone (app) → handy app to get digital insight into all your systems. Perfect for on the go
Shinetools (app) → Local tool for commissioning and updating systems.
