Downloading logfiles from Huawei devices: here’s how to do it

Are you asked to download the logfiles from Huawei devices? There are two ways to do this: via the FusionSolar App or via the FusionSolar portal. We explain both options step by step.

At the bottom of this document, you will also find 2 descriptions with images to obtain these logfiles. 

Via the FusionSolar App

1. Open the FusionSolar App and log in with your installer account.

2. Tap top left on ‘Installation wizard’ and scan the QR code on the inverter.

3. Log in to the inverter (default password: 00000a, unless changed).
   → Forgot password? Click here

4. Go to Maintenance > Log Management.

5. Select all components and press Download.

6. Is the download complete? Then choose Share, enter the email address and send.

Via the FusionSolar portal

1. Go to fusionsolar.huawei.com and log in.

2. Click on Installations in the top menu.

3. Go to Export log > Create task.

4. Enter a task name.

5. Choose a device or select All.

6. Select under Log type: All logs.

7. Search the installation or device name.

8. Tick the correct device and click Submit.

9. Once the task is completed, you can download the logfiles via the export icon.

Not working?

Feel free to try again. Sometimes the system completes the export on a second attempt.
