Enphase IQ Battery 5P communication cable

For the Enphase IQ Battery 5P, Enphase recommends the original communication cable. It is well shielded, reliable, and falls within the warranty conditions. A CAT5 cable or higher can be used as an alternative, but Enphase does not guarantee correct operation in that case.

The Enphase IQ Battery 5P communicates via wired communication with the communication set. From there, the connection runs via USB to the IQ Gateway.

The original Enphase communication cable is available on a 100-metre reel and specially developed for this application. Thanks to the strong shielding, the cable can also run alongside power cables without causing interference quickly.

Is 100 metres not enough? Then technically you can also use another signal cable, such as an ethernet cable CAT5 or higher. Note: Enphase does not guarantee correct operation or communication in that case.

When using an alternative cable, take good account of the cable route, the distance to power cables, and possible interference.
