Why is the Enphase training mandatory?
Enphase sets high standards for the installation of their products. Understandably, safety, reliability, and optimal operation are paramount. Therefore, training is mandatory for everyone who wants to:
Install and activate Enphase microinverters
Work with Enphase battery systems (such as the IQ Battery)
Use the Enphase IQ Gateway
Manage systems via the Enphase Enlighten app
In short: without a certificate, you cannot activate installations.
What does the training involve?
The online training on Enphase University consists of interactive modules that guide you through:

Up-to-date best practices and troubleshooting

Search for the appropriate training (e.g. “Enphase Installer Certification”) and start immediately
After completion, you will automatically receive a certificate that you need to register and activate installations.
