The Enphase IQ EV Charger 2 is a robust, smart EV charger that fits perfectly within the Enphase ecosystem. Available in two variants – with a fixed 7.5-metre cable or a socket version – and equipped with AI-driven energy management, automatic phase switching, and solar charging functionality.
Note: in the Netherlands we (almost always) use a Wye network (3-phase + n), where the maximum charging power is 22 kW. The lower values for Delta networks (3-phase without n) are (often) not applicable here.

Two variants – always suitable for your project
The IQ EV Charger 2 is available in two models:
Socket variant – for those who want to use their own charging cable
Fixed cable variant – supplied with a 7.5-metre Type 2 cable for maximum flexibility
Both versions are suitable for single-phase and three-phase connection and have a robust IP55 enclosure.
Features that really make a difference
This EV charger is more than a standard wall charger. Enphase has built in a range of smart features that make a difference, especially when you work with an Enphase Energy System:
Solar energy charging (Solar Only Mode)
Use up to 100% of the surplus solar energy to charge the EV. This increases self-consumption and reduces grid load – sustainable and cost-effective.
AI-driven energy management
The charger automatically chooses the most favourable times to charge based on dynamic electricity tariffs. This results in lower energy consumption and cost savings.
Automatic phase switching
The IQ EV Charger 2 automatically switches between single-phase and three-phase charging. This way you optimally utilise the available power.
Full control via app
Operation, scheduling and monitoring are handled via the user-friendly Enphase App. Through the same app, you also manage other Enphase products such as inverters and batteries.
Safe and reliable
Built-in RDC-DD residual current device
Thermal protection
MID-certified kWh meter for accurate consumption recording
Supports RFID cards for access control
Note: Some functionalities require a gateway metered
Wye vs. Delta: what you need to know about charging power
The datasheet of the IQ EV Charger 2 distinguishes between network types:
| Network configuration | Maximum charging power |
|---|---|
| Wye (3-phase + n) | 22 kW |
| Delta (3-phase without n) | 12.7 kW |
| Single-phase | 7.4 kW |
In the Netherlands, almost exclusively Wye is used. This means there are three phases and a neutral conductor present. This means that the specified charging power of 22 kW applies to all standard three-phase installations in the Netherlands.
Delta networks, which do not contain a neutral conductor, are almost never found here and are therefore not relevant for most installers.

Installation ease for the installer
The IQ EV Charger 2 is designed with efficiency in mind:
Installation within 10 minutes, without additional mounting materials
Quick pairing with the Enphase Installer App
Service panel at the front for easy maintenance
Both wired (Ethernet) and wireless connectivity (WiFi, Bluetooth)
